Ladies and gentlemen,
We are happy to announce that the real estate located in the building of Nowa Spinning House in Żyrardów at 3 Hiellego Street is included in the government program called “Pałacyk Plus”. The New Linen Spinning Plant in Żyrardów is an object entered in the register of monuments, which we informed about when formulating statements about the revitalization of the facade or staircase. According to the information of our lawyers, both residential lofts and superstructures of apartments – penthouse are covered by a tax relief.
Let us remind you that from January 1, 2022, the Polish government introduced a new tax system – the Polish New Deal, in which we can find, inter alia, information about a tax relief for owners of historic real estate, commonly known as the “Palace Plus”.
The aim of the project is to provide additional support, through the tax system, to the activities of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage defined under the “Protection of Monuments” program and aimed at preserving material cultural heritage, implemented through the purchase, conservation and restoration of historic buildings.
The relief is available to both PIT taxpayers taxed according to the tax scale, as well as taxpayers taxed with a flat tax and settling accounts with the Tax Office on the basis of a lump sum on recorded revenues. The owners or co-owners of immovable monuments who have incurred expenses for:
- contributions to the renovation fund of a housing community or housing cooperative established, in accordance with separate regulations, for an immovable monument entered in the register of monuments or included in the register of monuments,
- conservation, restoration or construction works in an immovable monument entered in the register of monuments or in the register of monuments,
- purchase of an immovable monument entered in the register of monuments against payment or a share in such a monument, provided that the taxpayer has incurred an expense related to renovation and conservation for the acquired real estate.
“Pałacyk Plus” is a relief that entitles you to deduct from the tax base:
- 50% of the amount of expenses incurred for contributions to the renovation fund and for conservation, restoration and construction works related to an immovable monument, which is entered in the register of monuments or is in the register of monuments,
- expenditure on the purchase of an immovable monument entered in the register of monuments, not more than the amount corresponding to the product of PLN 500 and the number of square meters of usable space of this monument. The deduction limit for all taxpayer’s investments in this respect may not exceed PLN 500,000.
